As the proud owner of Cox Opticians in Aston, he opened the doors of his practice to all, regardless of race or ethnicity, at a time when the industry was far from inclusive. This forward-thinking approach earned Cox Opticians a beloved place within the community, where trust and care were paramount.
2009
A New Chapter Begins
When Kyriacos passed away, Adam took the reins of Cox Opticians, carrying on his father’s work with unwavering dedication. For several years, he managed both branches, continuing to serve the local community with the same passion and commitment that his father had instilled in him. It was a time of reflection and growth, and yet, Adam knew the legacy was evolving.

A Heartfelt Decision
As the years passed by, Adam become more aware the 90-year legacy of Cox Opticians needed to develop a fresh expression that ensured his family’s years of hard work, trust, and commitment to the community could grow long into the future. With his wife by his side, Adam took an apprehensive yet empowering decision to forge a new path. One that combined his expertise in optics with his deep love for creativity, compassion, and community.
Adam’s vision for this next chapter was clear: to create a space that blended top-tier optical care with an exceptional, welcoming atmosphere. His aim was to offer something more than just eye exams and eyewear. Adam wanted to offer an experience, one where every patient felt like they were part of something bigger. It was about building relationships, creating bonds, and making every visit a reason to smile.

Rooted firmly in the community he had always called home, Adam and his wife decided that Kings Heath was the ideal location for this exciting new venture. They wanted a place where they could continue serving with the same commitment, but with a fresh perspective.
