Eye Test FAQs
How often should i have an eye test?
We recommend adults book an eye examination every two years and children annually. However, if you notice any changes in your vision, it’s best to book an eye test appointment as soon as possible.
My eyes feel different, should i have an eye test?
Yes, some common symptoms that may suggest you need an Eye Examination and possibly Glasses can include:

Blurry Vision

How much is an eye test?
Seesaw’s comprehensive 40 minute eye examinations are industry leading. Every patient is looked after by one of our excellent optometrists. Our examinations include an Optomap scan as standard, a unique service offered by Seesaw. Eye examinations are £65 or £25 for NHS patients.
Can i claim my eye test cost back from my employer?
Yes - If you are claiming the cost of your eye test back from your employer because you use DSE (Display Screen Equipment, i.e. laptop) for your work, please speak to our team and they'll ensure you have a copy of everything you need.
Can i have my NHS funded eye test at Seesaw?
Yes - Seesaw offer our comprehensive eye examination including Optomap to NHS patients for £25.
