How often should i have an eye test? 

​We recommend adults book an eye examination every two years and children annually. However, if you notice any changes in your vision, it’s best to book an eye test appointment as soon as possible.

My eyes feel different, should i have an eye test?

Yes, some common symptoms that may suggest you need an Eye Examination and possibly Glasses can include: 

• Blurry Vision

• Headaches

• Double Vision

• Sensitivity to light

• Difficulty adjusting from Dark to Light

• Difficulty focusing on objects up-close, for example when reading

• Holding things further away to read small print

• Trouble seeing or driving at night

• Difficulty seeing objects in the distance

• Eye strain, or visual fatigue, particularly when using screens

• Squinting or narrowing your eyes to see things more clearly

How much is an eye test? 

Seesaw’s comprehensive 40 minute Eye Consultation are industry leading. Every patient is looked after by one of our excellent optometrists.

Can i claim my eye test cost back from my employer? 

Yes - If you are claiming the cost of your eye test back from your employer because you use DSE (Display Screen Equipment, i.e. laptop) for your work, please speak to our team and they'll ensure you have a copy of everything you need.

Can i have my NHS funded eye test at Seesaw? 

Yes - Seesaw offer a free basic NHS sight test or our comprehensive Eye Consultation. ​
